ANB News 2008 ANB Showcase Teams Enjoy Successful 2008 Season

December 16, 2008 (RELEASE) --ANB Futbol Showcase teams (Boys U-16 & U-18) have had a successful season in 2008 in the inter-academy competition, the SAAC league, the SAAC cup and the U.S university tours.

- U-18 team SAAC League Champions, 2008.
- U-18 SAAC Cup Champions, 2008.
- U-16 SAAC League Runner Up, 2008.
- U-16 SAAC Cup Runner Up, 2008.
- University of Indiana Showcase Spring 2008.
- RSR Showcase BMO Field Summer 2008.
- Score at The Shore Showcase, North Carolina Summer 2008.
- The Kirkwood Showcase, Delaware Summer 2008.
- RSR Showcase Michigan, Fall 2008. - Foyle Cup, Northern Ireland 2007.
- Le Havre Tour, France 2007. - RSR Showcase, Detroit Michigan 2007
- University of Cincinnati Showcase Fall 2007. - Youth World Cup of Academies, Barcelona 2006.

The teams will be attending the University of Indiana & Score at The Shore Showcases in spring and summer 2009.

The objectives of the ANB showcase program are as follows:

- Teams to receive the best year round training.
- ANB players to be showcased nationally and internationally.
- Display the ANB playing philosophy and produce results.

“The Academy is very pleased with its players’ development in terms of quality of play on the field, off the field and overall results. Over 70% of our player's have received letters from US and Canadian Universities while attending the showcases events. Congratulation to all the players, coaches & managers for a job well done” said Bassam Naim, academy director.
