SHELDON LUCAS & JAKE WILDMAN-SISK ARE THE FOURTH & FIFTH ANB SENIOR SHOWCASE TEAM PLAYERS TO BE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2009

JULY 24, 2009 (RELEASE) -- The ANB Academy is pleased to announce that Sheldon Lucas has signed to play men’s soccer this fall with SCC Patriots www.sccky.edu, located in St Katharine, Kentucky & Jake Wildman-Sisk has signed to play men’s soccer this fall with University of New Brunswick www.unb.ca, located in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Sheldon, an Ajax resident will kick off his soccer university experience early August 2009. "Sheldon is a highly skilled soccer player," commented Patriot Coach Paul Patton. "He is strong on the ball, passes well, shoots well, and has a lot of speed”.

Jake, a Barrie resident will kick off his soccer university experience early August as well. Jake has been accepted into the Renaissance College Program - Only one of its kind in Canada - only 25 students accepted each year - spend 1 summer in co-op in Canada and 1 internationally.

“We are very happy for Sheldon & Jake and we look forward to hearing about their future achievements.” Said Academy Director, Bassam Naim.
