Damir and a second ANB player made a strong impression on the club Technical Director Mr. Francois Rodrigues back in August 2007 when an ANB team was hosted for a friendly with Le Havre Youth Team, and then Damir was invited by the club for a week tryout in May 2008 where he was offered and accepted a two year contract with the youth formation centre. Damir will report to pre-season training camp on the first week of August 2008. More details to follow on the potential of a second player to Le Havre soon.

“Damir has been an ANB Academy Team Member since the academy’s inception back in October 2005, this is just fantastic to everyone; we are ecstatic and proud of Damir. He will be the first ambassador from the ANB Academy to the elite of the elites in France. Damir‘s achievement has strengthened the working relationship we are establishing with the Le Havre club” commented ANB Soccer’s Master Coach and Academy Director, Bassam Naim.
