2011 INTERNAIONAL ID CAMP A SUCCESS
July
4, 2011 (RELEASE) -- The ANB Academy is pleased to announce the
success of its 3rd International ID Camp with technique, development and
recruiting as highlights of the event. From June 9th to June 13th, 2011, The
ANB Academy had the privilege of hosting numerous coaches from professional
clubs in Europe at its training grounds at The Country Day School. Represented
clubs included SM Caen, Auxerre, St. Etienne (France), Wolverhampton Wolves
& Everton (England), Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) and Kayserispor FC (Turkey).

Academy Futbol triumphant at “Challenge Jean Pingeon”, hosted by
Stade Malherbe Caen
May
20, 2011 (RELEASE) -- The ANB Academy performed extremely well in the
prestigious 2011 edition of the “Challenge Jean Pingeon”, hosted by
the professional Ligue 1 club, SM Caen. The ANB Academy U-13 team, consisting
of 1998 & 1999 born boys, travelled to Caen, Normandy, in the north-west
area of France, to spend one week at the formation centre and participate in
the weekend tournament.

2011 (RELEASE) -- The ANB Academy is pleased to announce its 3rd
Annual International ID scouting camp taking place on Saturday & Sunday, 11
& 12 June, 2011 on the futbol grounds of The Country Day School (King City,
Ontario), home of The ANB Academy. The camp will be open to all male players
throughout Canada between 12 to 18 years of age. Youth coaches and scouts from
the following European clubs will be testing, observing and scouting the
participants:

THE FRENCH LEAGUE 1

15-year old Academy Team member Jonathan Jebbison is heading to the Normandy
region of France, to participate in a week-long trial with Stade Malherbe Caen,
a professional soccer club participating in the French League 1.

IPFW FOR 2011

21, 2011 (RELEASE) -- The ANB Academy is pleased to announce that
Jason Mills, a talented striker with the Academy’s Sr. Boys Program, has
signed to play men’s soccer this fall with IPFW Mastodons, (Fort Wayne,
Indiana) – the second player from ANB to secure a scholarship with this
institution in as many years.

TRIALS IN EUROPE.

1, 2011 (RELEASE) -- The ANB Academy is pleased to announce that
15-year old ANB Academy Team members, Mark Rankovic and Jacob Humeniuk have
been offered the opportunity to showcase their talents in Croatia at the youth
academy of the professional club NK Dinamo Zagreb. According to FIFA’s
latest regulations on the status and transfer of players, a minor is not
allowed to sign for a foreign club before the age of 18.

Futbol Academy reaches the Dominican Republic
January
1, 2011 (RELEASE) --Christmas came a week early for 300 young
Dominican soccer players. Through the generosity of the Toronto-based ANB
Futbol Academy members and Scotiabank, hundreds of gently used uniforms and
soccer equipment were distributed to two soccer clubs in Santo Domingo, the
capital of the Dominican Republic. The clubs represent the some of the most
underprivileged players of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean nation.
